My test results came back good, no nerve damage in my arms. Doctor is now saying that I have Fibro along with Lupus. The numbness in my fingers are caused by the swelling and water retention ??? I tried to come off the prednisone again but with no luck, had to go back up to 10mg everyday. What should I do now ?? I am still trying to wrap my head around having Lupus and now this. My family already think I am "faking" the Lupus part (I've explained this in a earlier blog).

yeah, Rachel is right, family members (some anyway) may never believe or understand what we have to live with. My hands and fingers are always swollen,. Today they are so swollen as are the veins under them that they look kind of green.
hang in there and document everything---like a journal or something so that when they ask you who said what when you won't have to guess like I do.
we are here if you need to talk to someone who knows you are not faking
