Getting Better

When you get a grip on life something happens and reminds you that life is way to short. I had a loss this week in the church family. It was sudden and unexpected. I feel like it was a gift to have known this person and I can't help but think how hard it is to have this much my life and not feel thinkful everyday. I am so thankful with the problems, pain, health issues and hurt. I am not going to waste a day feeling sorry for myself cause I have to be better than that. God gives me the strength to fight and I am going to fight everyday. Thank you God for this life and for whatever you need me to handle. I am here and ready to cope and deal with the issues.

someone very dear to me had a death in the family last week and it really made me appreciate the life i have too---like you, i realizes that this day to live and love and breathe is a tremendous blessing and i vowed to remember this if I ever feel like death won't come too soon.

today i have been in so much pain...it hurts to blink. and almost fell into the pit of gloom where it seems like a good day will never come again. But as I was getting ready for bed i said "no. my last word will not be ouch. i will go back and change it to something more hopeful." Then I opened the lwl page and saw your post . It gave me strength. and reminded me that God will always give us the grace to withstand whatever we have to go through. thank you so much for your post/
