Colonoscopy yesterday...
...well, I was prepped and ready to go. But was impacted and had to go home. Have to do this mess all over again next month!!! I was so sick when I got home, I felt like I had the flu. I can't explain, how bad I felt. It wasn't until evening that I started in with hot flashes and cold chills. My feet got so hot they felt like they were on fire!! My skin felt tingly and I got a migraine. Maybe all that was a result of the side effects of the anesthesia. Those of us with Lupus tend to react oddly to things. I am NOT looking forward to next month!! Now I have to take a stool sofetener 2 times a day, probably because of some of the meds I take causing constipation!!! Thanks!!! I weighed 170 lbs when I got home yesterday and this morning I weighed 162.5 !!!! Can you believe it!!! Then when I drink the darn citrate of magnesium I have to follow it with a GALLON of water instead of 5 8 oz glasses of water!!! OMG!!!!!! Let's hope my kidneys hold up!! Poor kidneys are only filtering at 46 % right now anyway due to my Kidney Disease!!! I'm Sick Of Being Sick!!!!!

Thank you Rachel and Ann for your well wishes and prayers. Today I feel nauseus and weak. I finally called the doctor's office and I'm waiting for a call back. I don't like feeling this way!!

I am getting ready for a colonoscopy in April. I have the same problems with my kidneys. So thanks for the warning. And I hope - wish - pray that your return visit goes without incident and that the findings are great.
